Bruce Carpenter, Principal

Mr. Carpenter is a Principal of Harbour Bridge Ventures, Inc., a firm founded to offer venture funding assistance, venture incubation, market entry and growth management services to both established and emerging technology companies. He also serves on the Board of Directors and Advisory Boards of several private and closely held companies.

Prior to founding Harbour Bridge Ventures, Mr. Carpenter was a Director and Senior Vice President, Strategic Business Development, for Fiserv's CBS (Comprehensive Banking Solutions) Worldwide headquarters in Orlando, Florida, USA. A former banker, Bruce served as Executive Vice President for a large U.S. commercial bank before moving to the software industry to assume the Presidency of a financial software company in 1983. In 1985, he helped found CBS Worldwide and was continuously involved in the successful growth and senior management of this group until leaving to found Harbour Bridge Ventures in 2003.

Mr. Carpenter helped to grow CBS Worldwide, by the end of 2002, to over US$220 million in annual revenues while serving over 450 leading financial institutions in more than 55 countries from its principal offices in Orlando, Florida, and from offices in London, Singapore, Warsaw, and Sydney. Fiserv, the corporate parent of CBS Worldwide, is the leading global provider of technology and technology management services to the financial services industry including banking, brokerage, insurance, and benefits administration. With over US$4 billion in annual revenues, Fiserv serves over 17,000 clients worldwide.

In addition to his other responsibilities, Mr. Carpenter also served a key role in Fiserv's merger and acquisition program and was responsible for developing and implementing Fiserv's formal processes for both M & A activities and those for integration of acquired businesses.

Mr. Carpenter has a unique blend of executive management experience in both the banking and technology industries and holds a Masters Degree (MBA) from Columbia University.

Long viewed as an innovator in the application of technology to the financial services industry, he has provided strategic consultancy to many leading, global financial service brands including, Citigroup, ABN Amro, Prudential, CIBC, BCP, Westpac, Bank of America, TD Waterhouse, GE Capital and many others. His practical experience includes not only the growth and management of the CBS Worldwide business but also the design, development and implementation of many banking applications and related delivery systems. His banking experience also includes management of operations, technology, and non-technology-related functions as well as complete Balance Sheet and P. & L. responsibility.




Kiran Chhaganlal, Principal

Mr. Chhaganlal is a Principal of Harbour Bridge Ventures, Inc., a firm founded to offer venture funding assistance, venture incubation, market entry and growth management services to both established and emerging technology companies.

Mr. Chhaganlal is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Florida Technology Partners, LLP of Orlando, Florida, established in 2000. FTP has set up and manages a network of Angel investors funding early-stage technology companies. FTP also works with some of its portfolio companies in commercializing their technologies. FTP portfolio companies have raised over US$700 Million in funding between them.

Mr. Chhaganlal arrived in USA in early 2000 from New Zealand, where he held a variety of Senior Executive roles in the telecommunications and wireless industries in New Zealand. With Telecom New Zealand, he played a key role in transforming it from a Government Department, into a private company, which was sold to Bell Atlantic and Ameritech, both of USA , for NZ$4.2 Billion (US$2.5 Billion). Telecom then had a successful IPO. With BellSouth New Zealand, Kiran helped start-up the company to build out a nation-wide GSM wireless telecommunications network. The company, owned by BellSouth of USA and Singapore Technologies of Singapore, was sold to Vodafone in UK for NZ$750 Million in 1998. Mr. Chhaganlal was a key player in the entire process of building up the company and in its sale. He stayed for almost a year with Vodafone New Zealand and Australasia after the sale, before deciding to come to USA.

Mr. Chhaganlal graduated as a Barrister and Solicitor with law degrees from the London School of Economics and Grays' Inn, both in London, England, as well as from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand. He has practiced law in England, Fiji and New Zealand. His areas of specialty have been Corporate Law and Intellectual Property.

Mr. Chhaganlal has over 18 years of Senior Executive level experience in the telecommunications, wireless and internet industries. He has created and led Business Development, Commercial, Legal, Regulatory and Corporate Communications departments in companies owned by American, British and Singaporean multi-nationals. He has extensive operational experience in start-ups, IPO's and acquisitions, together with an in-depth background in international business development, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region as well as in USA.

Mr. Chhaganlal has been elected National President of the New Zealand Corporate Lawyers Association. He also has been a Charter Member of Rotary International as a member of the Rotary Club of Auckland Harbourside. He is also a Co-Founder, Charter Member and President of TiE Florida, a Chapter of TiE, which is an organization focused on entrepreneurs. He has spent at least 8 years each in India, Fiji, England and New Zealand, and now has been in USA for 5 years.
